Inverted Frame Card tutorial

This is a card I made for my lovely upline Jacque's wedding. I wasn't able to make the event but sent Jacque and Rob this card. Like I said yesterday I'm not a big user of blues but thought I would challenge myself. The 'inside' parts that were cut out I used on yesterdays card. The below is a quick tutorial on how I did the hearts.

start with your choice of card - I used Night of Navy, Midnight Muse, Marina Mist and Bashful Blue.

cut them all to the same size - mine were 10cm x 14.3cm and hold them together with a post it note.

work out where you want your dies placed - try to center them BETTER than I did! hehe

Hold them all in place with more post it notes

cut thru you Big Shot - you will need to adjust the 'platforms' as it is thicker than a normal framelit die - I took the second tab off and then loaded the underneath with some shims to get it right.

as you can see it doesn't actually cut thru all layers but it marks it so you know where you need to do the dies to ensure they line up.

now go thru and cut each on - starting with the lightest with the biggest heart and work your way thru all layers. The dies will 'pop' into the grove quite well but still hold it in place with a post it note.

You will end up with a positive and negative at the end - and this is what I used for BOTH cards.

I love the look of what they create.
 Thanks for visiting today :)
