Thinking of You

Another simple card using this cool background technique - the reds and yellows are very warming and hopefully warm the person receiving it. I will bring you some more samples after the long weekend - drive safe everyone!

You're My Anchor

Here is another version of the background technique I'll be sharing next month - love the blues and how they work together. The line of circles down the right side are actually cut out using one of the MANY dies in the mini treat bag die.

Below are this weeks WEEKLY DEALS - available ONLY till 2 June!!

scribblin' and spritzin'!!!

I had a BALL making these cards - it's a fab technique the involves ''scribblin' & spritzin'' !!! It has lots of uses, from cards to scrapbooking and Project Life, it's a great way to make something very bespoke!  I'm going to be teaching this technique (along with another project) in June at my classes - only two classes in June - they are Friday 5th @ 12.30pm and Friday 12th @ 7pm. Both classes are at my house and only $15. Bookings are essential!  Below are some other colour combonations that I made. I will be sharing some more cards using these over the next few days.

Don't forget that this is the LAST week for items in the current 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue and the 2015 Occasion Catalogue. MANY of these items have NOT gone thru to the new catalogue - MANY are heavily reduced so contact me ASAP to secure your items!

Happy Stampin'!!

Ink Pad Tricks and Deals

here's a sneeky peeky at one of the new In-Colours that's coming in with the new catalogue on June 2! But want I really wanted to show you was what to do with those 'extra' foreign language stickers you get on the back of the stamp pads. I peel off the English one and put at the bottom edge like you should, then I put the one that most looks like the English version at the top end and then a tip I learnt at our convention was to cut up one and put it in the 'finger holes' on our stamp pads. That way you can see at a glance from the top what colour you have, cause some times you might have a few colours and the the inked pad look very similar. Cool and easy idea eh!

I am going to do a SPECIAL deal with ink pads - BUY FOUR and pick a fifth for free! You MUST order BEFORE 31 May 2015. The ink pads ARE going up on June 2 so this way you save even more money! I would suggest you order reinkers at the same time too- always good to have them handy and there are HEAPS of things you can do with reinkers other than just 'reinking' lol!

FORE!!! Gold card!

This weekend is my brother's birthday and so I needed a card quick as - so after a quick Google image search I came across a cute card that used the pun 'fore you' so I ran with it. I used the Christmas tree punch for the flag and stamped his age (cause he's older than me and I let him know that as often as I can hee hee!) using the Project Life Day to Day stamp set. The letters are of cause the Alpha thinlets dies - just LOVE these and use them ALL THE TIME!! The golf ball is the 1/2" circle punch which I also used to punch the hole in the grass - I also punched a hole in some Soft Suede card stock and placed that underneath the grass 'hole' to create the oval look to give it the right dimension. It was so easy it was almost embarrassing! lol
Don't forget Saturday week (23 May from 9.30am) I have an open craft day to come and work on your own projects and have full use of my toys and tools. It's free, just BYO lunch, I'll provide morning/afternoon tea. Just let me know if you can make it :)
