More Cake!!!

I finished the whole Sweet Stacked Project Kit - here is 20 slices of fat free cake! hee hee This kit is very easy to put together so don't be put off - great idea for a birthday party or something where you can fill the boxes with either cake or other goodies!

Cake Anyone???

YES this is a cardboard (fat free??? lol) cake - I just ABSOLUTELY love the new Cutie Pie Thinlits from the new catalogue (page 66). Here I have teamed it up with the Sweet Stacked Project Kit cake stand. I went to our Team training today and we all took 21 items exactly the same and you 'swap' with 20 other people and come home with 21 different items - a great way to be able to show you different styles and products and of cause ideas with new products out of the new Annual Catalogue. the stand and the 'party' banner are all from the kit - I added the Watermelon Wonder lace ribbon.

Everything on the cake boxes are made from the dies in the Cutie Pie thinlit die set - there's lots of other things too!

the stamp set 'Sweet Stack' has the 'cake' stamp in it. And I used the new envelope paper (pg 149) to make the bows on the boxes

Here is a Delightful Dijon version - the "LOVE YOU TO PIECES" stamp is also from the Sweet Stack stamp set - too CUTE!!

Lashings of Gold and Silver

Every 2 years Stampin' Up! change the Colour Family DSP 12" x 12" stacks and this time they are DIVINE!! The Neutrals include Gold and Silver rather than Whisper White and Very Vanilla - and they are beautiful. The patterns this year are a thicker stripe, a small flower, a medium dot and a lovely small written script. I used the strip on the above card to create a chevron pattern, accented with our satin ribbon. Have you found anything yummy you LOVE in the new catalogue??

I am hosting a LAUNCH party for this catalogue on Sunday 21 June at 1pm. Thinking of You

Another simple card using this cool background technique - the reds and yellows are very warming and hopefully warm the person receiving it. I will bring you some more samples after the long weekend - drive safe everyone!

You're My Anchor

Here is another version of the background technique I'll be sharing next month - love the blues and how they work together. The line of circles down the right side are actually cut out using one of the MANY dies in the mini treat bag die.

scribblin' and spritzin'!!!

I had a BALL making these cards - it's a fab technique the involves ''scribblin' & spritzin'' !!! It has lots of uses, from cards to scrapbooking and Project Life, it's a great way to make something very bespoke!  I'm going to be teaching this technique (along with another project) in June at my classes - only two classes in June - they are Friday 5th @ 12.30pm and Friday 12th @ 7pm. Both classes are at my house and only $15. Bookings are essential!  Below are some other colour combonations that I made. I will be sharing some more cards using these over the next few days. 

Don't forget that this is the LAST week for items in the current 2014-2015 Annual Catalogue and the 2015 Occasion Catalogue. MANY of these items have NOT gone thru to the new catalogue - MANY are heavily reduced so contact me ASAP to secure your items!
