I saw a cool card on Pinterest HERE and thought I NEEDED to make a Stampin' Up! version, and so I did lol! And then I decided I wanted to do it in different colours - so I did! hee hee Different embossing folders and ribbon and I was set! The ladies at my class today enjoyed making these. Looks like a hard card but it's fairly quick to make. Thanks for visiting :)

Background Bliss
Firstly - so sorry it's been ages since my last post - we've had school holidays, a family funeral and other yucky stuff and I've just not had much crafting time. Things are getting back to normal (ish) now and I got to spend half a day playing in my craft room and will be sharing these cards over the next few days.
To start the ball rolling I am showing you a version of the last technique I shared. This is the alcohol marker pen marbling one. What I did was stamp some stars in white ink and some in versamark which I heat embossed with red embossing powder. I then chopped it up and just randomly put them on some card. Added a few bits of bling which I coloured with Blendibilities. I just LOVE the word dies as part of the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies
by themselves they are $51.95 or team them up with the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and you can save on the bundle for only $90.75

splatery squish!!!
That's the best way I know how to discribes this cool technique. It uses our Stampin' Up! Blendabilities, a plastic bag and some rubbing alcohol! The technique was on Splitcoaststampers email this week. It's lots of fun and creates such AMAZING effects. These are the cards the my ladies made at this afternoon and as you can see they are ALL different! AND they are fairly quick. We used photo paper to create them.

Using Up Those Scraps
This afternoon I had an had a few moments to play in my craft room and decided I needed to do something with all the little bits I had left over after prepping for a class using the Trim The Trees DSP stack. I started with some plain Whisper White card bases and just played - it was FUN!! The card about I used a layout by the ever so talented Amy O'Neill but the others are all my own designs. Some people think I'm mad keeping all those little bits but hey - they made me 4 cards today AND I didn't have to cut any of them, just shaped them.

Thinking of YOU at Christmas
Another card using my much loved Kraft card and white chalk pen! I used the cute Photopolymer stamp set called White Christmas - I just stamped the trees a few times. One of the cool things about Photopolymer stamps is that you can 'bend' them so I was able to change the curve of the hill with the trees on it :).I did use my white gel pen on the snow falling as the tip of the chalk pen didn't have a small enough tip.
Keep a look out for tomorrow's Weekly Specials - I'm putting in an order tomorrow night so let me know ASAP.
See you tomorrow :)

a Krafty Santa!
I REALLY love the look of Kraft card with black and white so when I Googled Stached Santa I found Amy O'Neill's card HERE I just HAD to CASE it - I love this Santa's super duper mustache and using our mustache die to cut him out. Then I wondered how our Blendie's would go directly on to the Kraft card and was really impressed at the depth of colour so below is another card doing just that. I used our white chalk pen for the white on the card. :)
