Get well soon
Here is more sames of new products coming in the Seasonal Mini. I love this Tea for Two DSP, and it reminded me of a paper piecing quilt so I thought I would make a 'get well card' The cute tiny doily is from the new catty too!! The image of the cup of tea and it's container is also from the Tea for Two DSP. I just thought it made a great image of snuggling under a quilt with a good cuppa and trying to get better .... SO I decided I wanted to make the below pop up tissue box that's featured below. I first saw this on our Stampin' Up! demo only site by Marlo DeVouge who is a Canadian Stampin' Up! demo. Isn't it cute!!!
Have a great weekend - it's a long weekend here in Auckland, New Zealand so I will have the family around for 3 days which is great! Weather looks good too so happy times!!

Great card. I love the pop up tissue box inside.
ReplyDeleteLove the inside pop up. Is this easy to do?
ReplyDeletehere are the instruction that Marlo shared - use a strip of DSP 6.25 x 3.75 inches. Score long side at 1.5, 3, 4.5, and 6
DeletePunch opening on one side (I used a 3/4" circle punch from both ends and trimmed the little triangle shape between them)
glue on small flap and fit into card fold. For the tissue use only 1 ply and half a sheet so it isn't too bulky.
Love your card, especially the paper you used for the cover. Also, thanks for the mention!
ReplyDeleteof cause Marlo! always share the credit! and thanks SO MUCH for visiting my blog! :)
