Never to early for SANTA!!!

I made this card on Tuesday as my Crafters Anonymous Facebook Pintrest Tuesday project. The card fold was the one we did on Monday Nights On-line class with guest tutor Paula Reid. I saw a santa on Pintrest but it was made out of the Stampin' Up! Top Note die but I thought it would be too big with this card so I used the framlits die. I used the Build a Blossom punch for the mustache and some circle punches for the nose and the pompom on the hat.

this is such a cool fancy fold!!

Last night on Crafters Anonymous our guest tutor Paula Reid taught us this card. It's a good card to use up some DSP - her version didn't have a belly band. I used a stamp set that will be in our new catty - oh so exciting!!!

I used Wisteria Wonder DSP from the current In Colour DSP stack pack. Such a great way of making monochromatic cards - which are one of my favourites!!

Sorry for the lack of posting over the last few days- a friends dad passed away out of town so I have been away at the funeral. It was a amazing funeral for a very unique guy!

Pintrest Tuesday Popcorn Card

This is the card I made for the Crafters Anonymous Pintrest Tuesday challenge. I have pinned it a while ago but decided to give it a try. I did trace it back to the blog of Julie Kettlewell

It's just a fun project and easy to do. I used three punches - the larges square punch, the itty bitty floral punch and the cupcake punch - yes that's what the popcorn container is from! Even stamped it using the Create a Cupcake stamp set. This card would be a great one for a movie party invite!

oh I do LOVE a good bubble bath

this card is taking the 'bubble' theme even further, to one of my favourite places - a BUBBLE BATH!! I had a ball designing this card - and yes that is me in that bath! lol I created the bath by using on of the framelits dies and then using the Word Window punch to create the 'feet'. I used the same punch for my feet and hands and for the bubbles I used a variety of small punches - 2 1/2”, 1 ¼”, 1”, ¾” & ½”. The window was created using the 1" square punch too. I also used the set 'On Your Birthday' for the sentiment -"it's you day - ENJOY!" as it was PERFECT for it. This set is retiring at the end of the month so get in quick before it disappears forever!!! The DSP is from the colour family DSP packs, I LOVE those packs - they are SOOOOO useful!.

Time for Bubbles!!!!

Last night on Crafters Anonymous I taught a class on this milk shake embellishment - which I put my sample on this card. They members had NO IDEA of what they were making as we only give the step by step instructs, one at a time. They do have photos regarding each step (we're not that mean! lol) but when they finally see the finished product they get so excited! It is a fun night - I have done it once from the other side.

As you can see the beer card below was my inspiration. There are a variety of these beer card around but I wanted to do a non alcoholic one cause not everyone drinks! SO I came up with a milk shake. You could do a 'float' or a soda - the skys the limit as they say! I have made another 'bubble' card but you will have to wait till tomorrow to see that one! See you then!

ROCK HARD!

Next weekend is one of my friends son's 17th birthday and he loves music and guitars. Oh yes computer games and jumping off buildings are also favourites but I couldn't think of how to include those in the card! lol

The guitar dude stamp is retired (but I'm NEVER going to sell it!) and the DSP Well Worn is also retiring on 31st August. The hemp string I used is also retiring - I coloured it with the Basic Black marker pen. I spritzed the DSP with Log Cabin smooch spray which is also retiring!! It was good to have a last play with some stuff.

I have spent a good part of today sorting out all the stuff in my craft room that is going - I've made list etc all ready to go for 1st September when we can sell off our retired products. So keep an eye out on my "garage sale" list on the next page. If you can't wait till then - you can email me and order from the lists I posted over the last few days!

Girls All LOVE Handbags!

I know I am a handbag hoarder - nothing nicer than buying a new bag I say!!

I made this card for a good friends daughter who has a cool handbag similar in colour to the middle bag. She turned 19 yesterday - I am still wondering where those years have gone!

I like doing a simple card sometimes - and for the one I used the Stampin' Up! Shimmer Paper which gives it a lovely subtle sparkle. I hope Allie likes it.
